April 2008 Newsletter

Spring is a wonderful time to go out and get fresh air. It is a season of renewal and a fresh start. This month we have many fun activities planned.

Breakfast with books:
On April 18th. We will be having a breakfast with books event for the children.
Spring Break:
The school will be closed from April21st. to 25th.for Spring break. Remember to go out and enjoy the beautiful weather!

Field trip:
This year we are doing something different for our field trip. We have planned a family outing to the Ringling Bros circus. We will be going on Saturday, May 17th. It is in Trenton at the Sovereign bank arena. If you are interested in coming with your family, please fill up the field trip form.

Book it Program
We are continuing with the book it program. Please read to your child...

Pre-registration:
We are currently receiving applications for the summer program and also for the 2008-2009 School year. It is very important that you sign up promptly to assure your child a place in the class. As of April 14th. The registration will be opened to newcomers to the school. If you have any question, please talk to Ms. Grace or the class teachers.

Parent Teacher Conference -----School closed
Our last parent teacher conference will be on May 2nd.
There will be a sign-up sheet available to make an appointment with your child’s teacher.
There will be no school on that day.
Each conference will be 15 minutes long, if you cannot make it on that day, we can schedule a phone conference for another day.
