DAILY SCHEDULES FOR 3-6 YEARS OLD

  • 8:00 to 8:45 a.m. Morning extended care.
  • 8:45 to 9:20am. Montessori work time (Tuesday, 9:00 to 9:30am. Spanish class)
  • 9:20 to 9:30 am. Circle time (Attendance, Calendar, weather, etc.)
  • 9:30 to 45am. Snack time
  • 9:45 to 10:00 am. Circle time (Montessori group presentations children's songs, rhymes, stories)
  • 10:00 to 10:45am. Montessori work time
  • 10:45 to 11:00 am. Bathroom and story time
  • 11:00 to 11:30am. Outside Play time
  • 11:30am. Morning program ends
  • 11:30 to 12:00pm. Lunch time
  • 12:00 to 12:30pm. Nap time
  • 12:30pm. Afternoon program starts
  • 12:30 to 1:30pm. Montessori work time
  • 1:30 to 1:45pm. Circle time (Attendance, Calendar & Weather)
  • 1:45 to2:00pm. Snack time
  • 2:00 to 2:30pm. Circle time (Montessori Group Presentations ,Rhymes, Songs or special program.*)
  • 2:30 to 2:45pm. Bathroom time and Story time
  • 2:45 to 3:15pm. Outside play time.
  • 3:15pm. Afternoon and full day program end.
  • 3:15 to 6:00pm Afternoon extended hours.
  • 6:00pm. School closed.
    * Special program: Monday, Art; Wednesday, music &dance; Thursday Spanish.

Each child will "sign-in" at the time they arrive and "sign out" when they are picked up.

Nap time is observed every afternoon with each child resting on an individual cot. Children may bring a small blanket, stuffed animal and/or a small pillow to comfort them. These items must go home at the end of each week, to be washed. Any item that a child lays down with, must be free of any hard and/or sharp surfaces.

TODDLERS DAILY SCHEDULES

  • 8:00 ~8:45 a.m. Morning extended hour:   Children enter the school. Information and message are exchanged between parents and caregivers. Children have free work.
  • 8:45.~10:00 a.m. Morning session begins : work time( Practical life, Math, Language, Sensorial, Social study, Science and Art etc.)
  • 10:00~10:30 a.m. Snack time
  • 10:30~11:00 a.m. Outside play time
  • 11:00~11:30 a.m. Circle time
  • 11:30 a.m. Morning session ends. Children who do not participate in the full day program go home
  • 11:30~12:00 a.m. Lunch time
  • 12:30 Afternoon Program starts
  • 12:30 p.m. Afternoon Program starts
  • 12:30~2:00 p.m. Nap Time (Full time children)
  • 2:00~2:20 p.m. Snack Time.
  • 2:20~2:45 p.m. Circle time
  • 2:45~3:15 p.m. Outside play
  • 3:15~6:00 p.m. Extended hours (Free work with the guidance of adults)
  • 6:00 p.m. School Closes: There is a late pick up charge for every 15 minutes.

TODDLER'S ACTIVITIES

sample activites for toddlers:

  1. Gross Motor Activities: Walking,riding toys,climbing and play in the outdoor playground.
  2. Fine Motor Activities: Grasping,spooning,pouring,stacking activities, etc.
  3. Language: Listening to adults' verbalizations, repeating sounds, words, and sentences. Naming items and objects, being read to and looking at books and pictures, etc.
  4. Cognitive: Exploring the environment, exploring cause and effect, imitating simple games and movements, displaying matching skills.
  5. Presocial Behavior: Set a limit, but explain why, e.g. : hitting hurts, grasping toys cause unhappiness. Notice children who show they care about other children, Mention the behaviors. Model prosocial behaviors by teachers. Encourage cooperation. Pay special attention to children who are constantly picked on or rejected by their peers.
  6. Beginning Self-Help Skills: Feeding self with spoon, sitting at a table, etc.
  7. Art and Music: Children have a wide variety of art and music experiences throughout the day
